Tiny Thief Review

Written by John Hopkins. Posted in Games

Tiny Thief is one of the most popular smartphone games of 2013. It is available for both Android and iOS. The main character of the game is a tiny rogue who is in the pursuit of a purloined loot. Unlike other mobile games which are characterized by pay-to-win mechanisms, this particular game created by Rovio Stars will not affect your wallet as it only costs $2,99. It is a challenging and fun game which will appeal to all types of players.
  • Game Style
Tiny Thief is an exciting mobile game. Part of the game is point and click and part of it is stealth action. The tiny rogues is very easy to control. All you have to do is touch a certain area in order for him to move there. In order to interact with objects, you only need to touch the objects. The object interaction menu has a very simple control scheme which allows the character to hide in or behind certain objects, to grab objects or use them. His adventures often take him in interactive environments where he needs to slip past guards, climb ladders and infiltrate the roof tops. The game is very well made so that the touch mechanism does not affect the development of the game. Therefore you never run the risk of blowing your cover if you accidentally touch an object or an area while you are in hiding.
  • Game story
The tiny rogue which is the main character of this game is inspired by Robin Hood. He is a mischievous  character who has the habit of meddling in local businesses in order to work for the greater good. Each level is structured, based on three objectives. You have to find the hidden objects, find your companion (an adorable little ferret) and complete the main mission which clears the level. The difficulty of the game can be adjusted according to the payer’s style. The style of the game is also very humorous. So, not only will you be able to clear mysterious puzzles but you will also amuse yourself while doing so. The story is developed through small comics sequences which only take a few seconds. Most touch games resume themselves to simple scenarios. Due to the fact that they are limited by small screens and complicated touch mechanics, mobile games stick to simple puzzles and basic stories. However, this is not the case of Tiny Thief, a game so well made that it has almost no flaws.
